Education

Harry has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oakland University, Oakland, Michigan.

Work / Achievements

Harry retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan in 2005 after 32 years of service. 

He began his career as an engineer and became an executive manager responsible for Corvette & Camaro planning, design, and development. He spent his last 12 years of service in the GM Racing Division.

Harry was the Senior Technical Director at the Sports Car Club of America from 2005 to 2007.

Family

Has been married to wife Elizabeth for 30 years. He has a son living in Michigan and a daughter living in Maryland.

Community Involvement

Harry first moved to Arizona in 1999 and became a resident of Pinetop-Lakeside in 2020 after spending vacations here with his family. As a Pinetop-Lakeside resident he has been involved in the following activities:

 An active member of the Arizona White Mountains Rotary Club since October 2023.

 A Charter Partnership Member of the Chamber of Commerce for Pinetop-Lakeside since October 2023.

 A member of the Pinetop-Lakeside Planning and Zoning Commission from July 2022 to November 2024 - Chairman in last year of service.

 Foreperson of the U.S. District Court Grand Jury #21-3 from 2021- 2022.

 A member of the Mountain Gate HOA in Lakeside from 2021 to 2022.

Hobbies

Harry enjoys hiking/walking, weightlifting, and he grows trees from seed. He is currently writing a book describing his time spent in motorsports.
