Education

Mayor Irwin earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1981.  During her years as a Sun Devil, she was a member of the Arizona Students Association and the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Achievements

She has been a self-employed Certified Public Accountant since December 1985 with her practice in Pinetop-Lakeside.  She has been a full-time resident of Pinetop-Lakeside since 1982 and was involved in the Pinetop-Lakeside incorporation effort in 1984.  Prior to moving here full time she spent summers and school vacations with her grandparents in Lakeside.

Family

Mayor Irwin and her husband, Dennis, have two children:  Stephen (Emily) a Civil Engineer in Flagstaff and Bethany (Chad) a Certified Public Accountant in Flagstaff She is also a proud grandmother to twin grandsons Riley and Levi who were born in April 0f 2017.

Community Involvement

Mayor Irwin has served as the treasurer and board member of the Blue Ridge Scholarship Fund for over ten years.  She also is a board member of the Jack Barker Memorial Foundation which raises funds for the construction of the Jack Barker Memorial Park and is involved in various committees at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour.  Past involvement has included time on the Pinetop-Lakeside Vision 2020 Committee as well as several years as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Hobbies

In her spare time, Mayor Irwin enjoys being outdoors – hiking and snowshoeing, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and various home projects.
