A member of the team that secured a Certificate of Necessity for Ambulance Service to ensure that continued ambulance service would be available well into the future of the White Mountains.

Family
Taber and his wife Amber have 7 children: Mikaila a Veterinary Technician and her husband Chris who live in Sheldon, WA, and Micah, currently serving in the United States Navy as a Ceremonial Guardsman stationed in Washington D.C. Mackenzie, Brenden, Indiana, Ila, and Hurley all still attending K-12 school. Taber and Amber live across the street from their parents John and Susan. They also have three dogs Kuno, Milo, and Kota, and two cats Bo and Bob.
Community Involvement
Co-organizer - Christmas on Evergreen. This event is a Christmas light display that brings in hundreds of visitors each week to the Pinetop Area from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day.
Commissioner – Navajo County Planning and Zoning (Past)
Co-organizer – Guns and Hoses Charity Basketball Game which benefitted Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). (Past)
Board Member – Arizona Stoke Collaborative (Past)
Executive Vice President – United White Mountain Firefighters (Past). Labor Union representing all the professional firefighters within the White Mountains.
Co-organizer – White Mountain Firefighters Christmas for Kids (Past)
Organizer – Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Fill the boot for the White Mountains. This program raises money for the MDA which in turn provides research, treatments, and therapies to those with Muscular Dystrophy.
Co-organizer – Make a Wish. This project benefitted a local resident whose wish was to provide enjoyment for years to come by installing new playground equipment at Liden Elementary School.
Hobbies
Road Trips, Cruising (on ships), seeing historic places, learning about history, seeing new places, and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and driving backroads.
