Town Council Candidate - 4 Year Term

My family has owned a home and lived in Arizona for over twenty years. We vacationed in Pinetop and enjoyed this small-town community so much that we built our retirement home in 2020 and have lived here year-round ever since.

My education includes a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in business administration. 

I retired as an executive of General Motors in Detroit, Michigan in 2005 after thirty-two years of service. Most of my career was spent performing managerial responsibilities related to strategic planning and long-range business planning. I managed small groups and also large groups ranging from two hundred to seven hundred employees.

While we haven’t lived here long, I’m invested in this community and my experience, and my fresh eyes will be used to benefit our town. I’ve been very visible around town, and I’ve been involved in many civic activities:

• In 2021/2022, I was a Foreperson for U.S. District Court Grand Jury. 
• In 2022, I was appointed by the Town Council to be a Planning and Zoning commissioner and, in 2023, I was elected to be the chairman.
• I am an advisor for the new Chamber of Commerce for Pinetop-Lakeside, and I attend the White Mountain Business Owners Round Table meetings.
• I am an active member of the AZ White Mountains Rotary Club, and I attend the Timber Mesa Fire Department Board of Director meetings.

 I am dedicated to protecting and improving the small-town atmosphere of Pinetop. I strive to enhance the quality of life for all our citizens and to support the goals and investments of the business community, while working to protect our forests, water, and wildlife. 

I will continue to listen to the voices of all citizens.
